Our Anti Static Brushes are well known around the world. Our range of conductive brushes allows thorough cleaning of ESD sensitive assemblies without the danger of high charges generated by conventional brushes. They consist of a conductive plastic handle and bristles made of highly conductive fibres which will dissipate any charges by corona discharge, due to their small diameter. Natural hair is mixed with the conductive fibers to provide the desired stiffness. Includes the ESD symbol.

Technical Information:
 
The electronic industry often overlooks the fact that the direct contact of brushes with the PC boards is one of the most critical actions that can create friction,leading to an ESD event.
Tex-Stat CO has developed a  brushes  that not only prevent  electric static discharge but dissipate it to the ground.
  1. The brushes are combined with conductive fibers consisting of copper mixture of natural hair.
  2. The conductivity of the fibers are 10^3 to 10^4 ohms.
  3. The handle is made of black dissipative polyethlene 10^5 to 10^8 ohms.
  4. There are three kinds of hairs:
  • Soft: Mainly for electroptical use, explosive,chemicals,plastics,monitors and photographic sensitive equipment.
  • Semi fine: Mainly for explosives, chemical and electronics.
  • Hard: Mainly for electronics; especially for circuit boards.
